Elmer is right as Savannah; the trinity doctrine is 100% false; it comes from paganism.
Did the true church ever teach a trinity?
http://www.cogwriter.com/trinity.htm
Is God really a trinity? Think for a moment! Is this really taught in the Bible? Let me show you some faults of the trinity.
Flaw 1: If God the Father & Jesus our alike/same according to trinitarians; then wouldn't Jesus know when He was coming back? The Bible says in Matt. 24:36 and Mark 13:32 God only knows, not Jesus!
Flaw 2: Who was Jesus talking to in Luke 22:42? Was Jesus talking to himself or was he talking to God the Father; meaning they are two separate people?
Flaw 3: If the Holy Spirit was a person like trinity says; would that mean that the Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus? See Matthew 1:18.
In the Bible; most will try to support the trinity by citing John 14 and 15 and 1John 5:7; let’s look at these verses. In King James Version; it says “comforter” while New King James Version says “helper”; the Greek word for “helper” (in the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible by James Strong) is parakeletos (3875); one who helps in which points to the Holy Spirit. In Greek, the word “He” (3739) is neuter such as hand is feminine whether it is a female’s hand or male’s hand; this however doesn’t prove personhood. As for the word “parakeletos”; it is masculine and always require a masculine pronoun.. As for 1John 5:7,8; it was never in any of the Greek manuscripts; the Holy Bible New International Version by Zondervan Publishing House confirms this on the bottom of page 864; it tells us that “1John 5:7,8 was not found in any Greek manuscripts before the sixteenth century.” According to the Bible; what is the Holy Spirit? In concordant with many versions of the Bible except for King James; the Bible says in John 4:24 that “God is spirit”. [The word for “spirit” in the Greek is “pneuma (4151); look at the definition.] ”The Holy Spirit is the very essence, the mind, life and power of God. It is not a Being. The spirit is inherent in the Father and the Son, and emanates from Them throughout the entire universe (1Kings 8:27; Psalms 139:7; Jeremiah 23:24). It was through the Spirit that God created all things (Genesis 1:1-2; Revelation 4:11). It is the power by which Christ maintains the universe (Hebrews 1:2-3)."---Living Church of God Beliefs, sub-heading “Who is God?” (Site: http://www.lcg.org/statement-of-beliefs.shtml). It is the same power that all believers can be made into “overcomers” (Romans 8:37; Revelation 2:26,27), which can direct them to eternal life. In the Bible; the Holy Spirit is addressed in many ways; as we mentioned, one of the ways it is represented is by the Greek word “pneuma” which means “wind” or “breath”. [The definition of pneuma can be found in sub-heading “What is Spirit?” in Webshots Community User: Morrisonmcdf1.] Another analogy the spirit is spoken of as, “is of flowing water” (John 7:38-39). As air and water are necessary for us to live; they are life-giving forces that we need to survive; how wonder the spirit is addressed in this way; It is the source where Christians can have eternal life (Romans 8:11).
