Christians, I have a hypothetical question from the Good Book for you?

If the Lord ordered you to take your son up to a mountain and offer him as sacrifice in His name, would you do it?

I am a Christian, and I can tell you I would NEVER do anything of the sort. If I had a child, I would do anything to ensure his or her well-being.

And yet that is exactly what he did for you. He loved you so much he gave his only son so that you could be reconciled back to him. You are seperated by sin. Jesus became sin and took your punishment. He is a gracious God. People do not love like that.
