- Women don't cover their hair.

- Dating is allowed.

- You can eat whatever you want.

Why is your religion less strict?
WELL:

Why are women not required to cover their hair in Christianity (it causes lust)? WHY IS CHRISTIANITY SO DIFFERENT FROM ISLAM AND JUDAISM?
DATING LEADS TO SEX. DUH! ISLAM AND JUDAISM ARE WISE ENOUGH TO FIGURE THAT OUT

Jesus did liberalize some Jewish laws such as dietary regulations. In reference to dating, the Bible does not reference that since it was invented by men generations after the Bible was written. Accordingly,it is not a new or old testament forbidden practice but wise Christian parents strictly limit their children's involvement with it.

We've gotten away from the micromanaging system since Christ fulfilled the law of moses.

Because Christianity isn't legalistic or based on works. It's all about knowing Jesus as the only way to eternal life.

Christianity is "less strict" in diet because the dietary Laws God gave to the Jewish people were symbolic of the inner purity that God would provide when the Lord Jesus went back to Heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of believers.

Mark 7:14-23 Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. 15 Nothing outside a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him "unclean.'" 16 [If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.] 17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18 "Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? 19 For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.") 20 He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' 21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man "unclean.'"

As to "dating" the Bible commands that Christians remain sexually pure until they are married but it doesn't forbid people going out on dates.

Women don't have to cover their hair because there is no "spiritual component" to that. Christian women are told to dress modestly, nothing more.

Its actually more strict if you understood christianity.

Example:

Judaism: Don't commit adultery.
Christianity: Don't even lust after a woman privately in your mind.

See what I mean?

cause all we have to do is love Jesus with all our heart. and that's ALL we have to do. what do YOU have to do?

It was, if you go back in time far enough from the middle ages till early 1900's. Do some study on it and you will know.

catholicism is, not all of christianity. orthodox christians are VERY strict. acually othodox means "strictly by the teachings"

Following Jesus is not a religion, it is a way of life. I think it is the way of life! Religion is just a bunch of man made ideas to perpetuate itself. It's not needed.

Christianity is strict, but in a different way. Judaism and Islam focus more on externals, but if you read the New Testament, the externals are largely painted as hypocritical. It's what's going on inside that matters. If your inside doesn't match the externals (the religious "show"), then you are a hypocrite, according to Jesus.

Christianity is a religion that is strict when it comes to hypocrisy. Jesus preached against hypocrisy more than anything else. Which is why you will see people often accuse Christians of being hypocrites. Because not being a hypocrite is the Christian moral ideal. When we don't measure up to that ideal, people notice, because they know that's our (and Jesus') standard.
And not being a hypocrite is a helluva lot harder than putting on an external religious 'show'.
