Console Decision - Ps3 & Xbox 360?

Hey thanks for taking the time to read this. Basically heres the thing, its my birthday in about 20 days or so and i have a playstation 3 next to me in its box, the box is fine and all so i asume theyve sent me a new one (i had gurantee still) anyway. Im much prefering xbox live, all my mates have it and the online is so much better, also xbox have most of the games that playstation have. Ive lost alot of intrest with the playstation and i am thinking of getting an xbox and selling the ps3. I dont watch blue ray movies but can watch dvds on xbox anyway. The thing is the only thing keeping me to keeping the ps3 is a few of its exclusives, god of war 3, infamous, final fantasy versus. But final fantasy 13 will be on xbox anyway. Just games like that it seems like it will be weird playing them on xbox because of the buttons, not sure if you know what i mean but ohwell lol. So yeah, the online, playing cod4 and all on ps3 just arent doing it for me, ive lost intrest in them.


For my birthday i could keep my ps3 and get games like street fighter 4 and resident evil 5 for it and have alot of other stuff or i could get an xbox 360. But then i think is there much point having both, my brother has an xbox but its not the same if its not in your room and u can use when u want. Or i could sell my ps3, get an xbox and some games id like with possible some money left over (if i sell ps3 games too)

Its just things like i want to get the games RE5 and street figther 4, none of my mates on xbox have street fighter 4 so if i was going to keep ps3 i would probably get it on there because i feel the controls are better, and im not sure if any on gettin RE5 so then again maybe i would consider on ps3. But if i dont keep ps3 and sell it i can always get these games on xbox

What you think i should do? i know its my decision but im just so useless at making it lol

My personal opinion- And since I own a Wii, a PS3, a PSP, and a DS I may be a little biased against the 360...

Most of my friends have 360s, and I would be able to play a lot more with them if I had one, but one of my 2 closest friends doesn't play games, and one has a PS3 and lives with me. Even though I would have more friends with Xbox, I would still rather play PS3, and most of the time I don't even play with people I actually know.

Yeah, 360 has a lot of the same games as the PS3, but the exclusives are way better on the PS3. I'm not sure what you're into, but I wouldn't be able to play video games without the exclusives I have. Killzone 2 is the best shooter ever made, and nothing comes close on the 360. There are also a lot more exclusives that are worth the money. I haven't seen one that I enjoyed on the 360, and I've played them.

I don't see why everyone thinks that the online on the PS3 sucks, I haven't had any problems, I'm sure the 360 might have a few extra things, but at least the PS3's is free. I rarely have any problems with the online gaming, and if I do, it's the game's fault, not the PS3. I haven't played any Xbox Live games, but I have quite a few PSN games, and they're all really good, I highly recommend the PS3.
 
at this time of crisis, just be happy for what you have. Even though you are rich, it is just a gaming console. Let your friends enjoy their xboxes. You can always make another circle of friends online. who knows, they might be jealous of your PS3 too but they are already stuck with their xboxes. get Killzone 2.
