I want it so that I can create a server on a game such as Half Life 2 Deathmatch (only source games) that my friend can join over the internets so that we can do some crazy gmod stuff and some crazy console stuff. It never works for him. It says server not responding. Now, i have forwarded my ports, but I am unsure where. Router settings, windows firewall, or antivirus firewall (Bitdefender with Game mode that disables firewall). Also, does my friend also have to do it? What ports exactly should I forward? Does it have to be a dedicated server? Im sorry for the questions, but i could not find a good guide on how to do it. THankyou SO MUCH for all answers.
