Dead famous people that are "off limits" to making fun of?

It seems like if someone tries making fun of Kurt Cobain, Aaliyah, Eazy-E, Amy Winehouse, or Michael Jackson, all of their hardcore fans would come out and verbally murder them.
lol Well, it's one thing if you say you hate a bad, that's a simple opinion. But if you make fun of their deaths and say how terrible they are, that's going too far.

All dead people are off limits of making fun of. Why only famous dead ones? Why do you even have to be dead to not be made fun off? We should remember that the word "famous" doesn't change the fact that there people to,with feelings.
 
I completely agree. Some moron in my music class said he hated Nirvana and got pelted with wads of paper. You just can't make fun of legends like Cobain or Jackson.
