deciding specific games for xbox 360 or PS3?

so im thinking of getting upcoming game Homefront but not sure to get it for 360 or PS3. what do you think?

if specific games are made for multiple consoles, how do you guys decide what platform to get in on?
 
360 version comes with an exclusive multiplayer map called suburban, so go with that if you play online a lot
 
I think that on PS3 would be better if you want it to last more (unscratchable) or on Xbox if youd prefer to squeeze all the online you can on it.
Just depends on this: Do you prefer it to last forever or to have a huge online experience?
 
Ps3 has better graphics and like tthe first answer said, runs smoother. But box has a much better online experience. So if u want grpahics, go for ps3. If u want a slightly better multiplayer, go for xbox.

But persoanlly, i would just choose the system in which friends are getting the same game. Like if only one friend is planning to get homefront, and 10 friends are planning to get it for ps3, go for the ps3!!
