Diet and Fitness help?

I want to lose weight for real so i play on going on a diet and start running and weight lifting. I have read somethings about how many times you should eat a day which is 6 times. What should i eat thats the questions for me. Also i have man boobs how can i get rid of them? By the end of my school year i want to be in shape and not fat anymore. Thank you for the advice. Feel free to add any other important imformaction that is necsseary or that is needed for me. BTW im 16 5.9ft and around 180 pounds.
