This used to confuse me a lot when I was younger, but now makes somewhat sense. Still, I don't understand how a religious body can have soooo many divisions. Catholics, Evangelicals, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterian, Protestant, Catholic, Anglican, East/West Orthodox etc...I don't understand sometimes, why we are so separated under the same faith, that believes in the same God, yet we have different traditions that we do that separates us from how or who we worship.
I.E.
Catholics, I don't understand why you have so many rituals, Saints, Services, Prayers, Confirmation, Mary Madelene, Popes, Cardinals, Bishops. I mean, it's almost like a DMV line just to get closer to God that you have to do sooo much just to go to heaven.
Of course, just an example, not trying to bash you guys. Just trying to prove a point. Anyone can help me out on this?
