DIVX web player problem with scene skipping?

DIVX web player won't let me skip to certain places in the video. It either freezes or says it buffering but always stays at 0%. I have installed the newest DIVX web player and have tried re-installing it but it still doesn't work. It usually does let me skip to different places in the video but now it doesn't! Can anyone help me with my problem?
I have tried clearing out my cookies and deleting my temp files but that doesn't help. The site i use to watch my divx videos is Stagevu. They host lots of divx files and i know for one that it does let you skip to places which haven't already been loaded yet. (Just like in youtube, veoh and other video hosting sites.) Is this a problem that frequently occurs in divx web player or is it just me?
 
Silly question here-- have you cleaned out all temp files and defragged your drive? Have you deleted your browser's history and removed cookies?
 
Divx web player requires a good host when using it. the last website www.stage6.com the makers of divx even shut down the re website because it was costing for to much to run. (Made youtube look like childs play)

when it says buffering the best thing to do is either download the video instead, or wait.

also the player will not let you skip to different parts because that part has not yet loaded.

your better off downloading the videos you are trying to watch. (unless the player has a well host)
