Do any of the CHEAP models of portable dvd players perform decently?

I'm not interested in any extra features or gadgets......just something that provides decent playback. Ideally I'd like to spend under $50 if possible.

Can anyone recommend a cheap brand that does a good job of playing back regular dvds?
 
I bought a Colby a year or so ago, and it has performed wonderfully. It came with a sleeve to put in the car, I bought it for my kids so they can watch movies while we go on long trips. So far, no problems. It comes with a remote, so the kids can repeat, lower volume etc. It has a wall charger and a car charger, I can connect it to out flat screen TV and play it like a regular DVD player. The screen is large enough and it comes with a stand, so you can stand it on a table if you want to. It has been dropped and kicked by my kids and so far, it has been great. I spent $90 dollars I believe and I bought it at amazon.
