Do famous people really have a twitter?

Ok so Toni braxton is my favorite right so I follow her fan page, to make a long story short I had tweeted something about her and she retweeted it but my real question is do famous people really have a twitter or it a fake because if it fake am not following her.

Yes, it'll have a blue and white check mark, it means that it's vertified and that's the real account and ones that don't have a checkmark are fake

If the account is verified its real, if its not its fake. But yes, famous people do have twitter.
