do i have to be good to play intramural soccer at my college?

im a girl, and im interested in playing intramural soccer for my school, at the intramural program, but the thing is...im not good at sports and ive never really played soccer except for in P.E. in high school (btw im a college freshman)

my mom never gave me the chance to play any sports in high school so im not open to them, but i have ALWAYS wanted to play soccer and i feel like this might be an opportunity for me to try,

but idk if i would be good at it =/ i wouldn't want to embarass myself infront of everyone

bte, i AM active, so im in good physical health/condition, i just dont know if i would be good at the sport

You'll probably embarrass yourself because you don't know all the rules but if you are fit then it's fine cause intramural is just recreational.
