Do I need a wireless internet card to access the internet at free wireless hotspots?

I'm not particularly well-to-know about the whole wireless internet thing, and I was wondering if I need a wireless card to access the free wireless internet at the various hotspots about the city.

I think not. Your laptop will automatically detect if there is an available free wireless and will pop-up a balloon on your lower right part of the screen. Click on it and connect to the available free wireless connections you see there.n_n
