Do people who get mad at silly questions need to get a sense of humor?

Once I asked if I should clean my electric mixer in the microwave because washing it was a pain in the butt, and people called me a troll and told me to kill myself.

I think a sense of humor is good for you, what do you think?

Yes, they do. When questions are OBVIOUSLY silly/fun and people get mad, they do need to get a sense of humour. Also, when people say things so outrageous that it's quite obvious that they are making fun of that opinion yet some people think it's real, people need to READ things through rather than making a snap judgement. I think a lot of people who come on here "were born angry" and have their fingers on the "thumbs down" button or harsh words if people aren't EXACTLY like them. (Sort of the Internet versions of the guests of the Jeremy Kyle Show.)
