...conflict? In the Biblical Prophecy of Psalm 83 it talks about the "tabernacles" of Edom, Ishmael, Moab, Hagar, Gebal, Ammon, Amelak, Philistines, with the people of Tyre and Assyria being "united in their plan..." (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=PS%2083:5;&version=78; , "They form a confederacy" against God and Israel, saying: "Come, let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence." http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=PS%2083:4;&version=51; .

Recently, Lebanon's port city, Tyre, hosted an Arab Inter-Parlimentary Union (http://www.sana.sy/eng/22/2009/01/01/206952.htm ). In that conference, it was said: "that Israel is the common threat and enemy of all Arabs."

Prophecies are superstitious nonsense. This region of the world has been conflicted since long before the Jews even showed up there or became any kind of a power in the region (12th century BC or so). And many powers have risen and fallen in that region already, including Egypt, the Hittites, the Jews and eventually even the Romans, who went down into the dust. This so-called "prophecy" was fulfilled in 69 AD if you want to get technical about it.
