Do you download sim 3 game ; world adventure from torrent or do you buy the game?

I get it from my friend on internet he downloads from torrent. I wonder all of my special cloths and furniture's ( that I downloaded from torrent & they are work on sim 3 sunset valley and riverview) but are disappeared in the sim 3 world adventure? and it says I can get it only when I log in to the sim 3 community ( that's mean I must buy the original game right)....so I wonder if anyone still find this game interesting when you have to buy the items from the internet? or do you have anywhere else you can download the item for free? - I did download the items for free from torrent for the sunset valley and riverview, but seems those items no more working on world adventure? besides you have to log in and pay the money to buy original game?
 
Just Paying for the Game in the first place is the best way to go. Everything stays, it just adds rather than takes, and if you don't want to pay all that much then go to a shop that sells second hand games such as CEX of GAME, chances are they will have the games and it won't be the same price yet will work fine.
 
My mum plays the sims 3 a lot and she has loads of fun without buying the cloths and if you download them its illigal so i don't recamend it
