To be honest... I feel guilty when I see them. It's probably because I feel bad for them. But I usually give them a dollar or 2 I can spare whenever I pass by(:

I do too. And I don't know why. I shouldn't have to explain that I did put money in when I went into the store. Or maybe this is my third trip to the same store in one day and I already gave.

I do. In real life I'm a very passionate person who likes to make EVERYONE happy, even if it's complete strangers. Beats me why I am the way I am, my entire family is the exact opposite of me. Black sheep Sarah.

Well it would drive the average person broke if they kept giving dollars every time they walked by one. I'll toss some change in a few times a winter, but there are SO many charities out there that I can't possibly give to all.

i almost always give, i only go in a store like once a week so its not like im spending a fortune, and i usually have some sort of change in my pocket, even if its just a few cents. i know people who work with the salvation army, 99% of the guys you see wringing the bells are volunteers, they dont get paid, and 95% of the money does get to where its supposed to be, the other 5% is spent on the upkeep of the organization. if i dont have change with me, i do feel guilty because its always not a good feeling when someone asks for your help and you cant give it.
