yes, partially because global warming is evident in almost everything... some say that it is still cold, but by global warming it means global climate change, and although most places are getting hotter, some are getting wetter, drier, colder, etc.
lakes are drying up, ice caps are melting, and if the ice caps melt at the rate they have gone in the last ten years then NYC will be under water, and so will Shaing Hai, and numerous other populated areas.
Some say that climate goes up and down over thousands of years, but this time, its not going down because of our modern technology that we did not have thousands of years ago, and if we dont do sumthing now, then we will be forced to face the serious consiquences that is the future
