So I watched the documentary portion, and there are a few things that p*ss me off about it
1) I dont think Kevin Sullivan was given enuff credit in this DVD. He booked some of the best stuff in WCW, like the initial days of The Giant (Big Show), when he was pretty much unstoppable, among other things that could of been mentioned. I understand not mentioning his feud with Benoit and how he put Benoit over, but I think they could of talked alot more about Sullivan, who I think goes un-credited.
2) I thought all the pre-tapes of guys like Scott Hall speaking on previous DVD's was crap. In fact, most of it was re-cuts, while only a small portion were recent, like Goldberg and Sullivan talking.
3) I thought alof of the DVD as a whole was just basically a re-hash of the Monday Night Wars DVD. They basically repeated the same song and dance....the NWO, Goldberg, the cruserweights ect.
It just felt really rushed, and I think if they had delved into more detail of what WCW was truly about, it could of been alot better than it was. With all due respect to the original ECW, which I myself was a fan of, this DVD should of been much bigger than the Rise and Fall of ECW, since WCW was much bigger than ECW. It was a national promotion.
I do give WWE credit though for letting Sullivan, Goldberg, Magnum T.A. and others speak on this DVD, so I'm not totally cutting WWE's b@lls off here, but overall, this DVD wasn't as good as it could of been.
What would you of liked to have seen on this DVD? And did you even like it at all? Thoughts?
