If you are a rotten child, and you know it enough to write it here, they have every right to call you that.
If you intentionally make and leave a mess around the house repeatedly, they have every right to call you out about it. It's not insulting you, any more than you are insulting them by making their home a mess.

You're getting exactly what you deserve, and now you're whining about it??????

No, they have a right to set firm boundaries for you and enforce them but insulting and demeaning language would be considered verbal abuse. "Name calling" generally falls under the category of verbal abuse.
