prophecies in the Book of Daniel? I'd prefer one that takes the view that the Iron legs in the statue vision represent Macedonia, as that's what I've concluded from the research I've done so far.
RE: {-_o} That's one popular interpretation, but it's not the only one. The two most common views of the statue vision are that it goes:
1. Babylon
2. Medo-Persia
3. Macedonia
4. Rome
5. Rome and Byzantinium
or
1. Babylon
2. Media
3. Persia

5. The Seleucids and the Ptolemies.
Traditionally, the first view is held by Christian scholars and the second view is held by Jewish ones. The first one fails to account for the fact that Media and Persia were separate empires and there was never any attempt to reunite Eastern Rome and Western Rome through marriage (Dan. 2:43) That's really all I know about discussion surrounding the book though, and I'd love to learn more. (Preferably from a non-JW perspective. Sorry.)
