does anybody know where the vin is on a honda nighthawk besides the neck of the bike?

i can't find the vin on the bike i looked on the frame and the motor can anybody give me and ideal

It is always on a plate at the neck. Also stamped into the engine, usually on the clutch housing. It should be on the title, registration, or insurance card. Look for grinder marks on the engine case or rivets on the neck where the plate should be. Sounds like a stolen bike to me.
