Does anyone know how to pair a sony ericson mw600 bluetooth headset with a ps3?

when I try to do it hold the power on the Mw600 until it goes into discovery, then set the PS3 to scan, it does detect the headset, then i put in 0000 for a pass-code, then i get a error from the play station. WHY???
