Does anyone know how to put avi on to dvd and make a good quality dvd?

I used to use CCE encoder with d2sroba + dvd2svcd but cce encoder doesn't work on windows 7 because its being stupid, are there any programs, or a bundle of programs that can put avi video files on to dvd and be able to play in a dvd player and be good quality
 
Nope. AVIs are already heavily and, by modern standards, poorly compressed. Encoding it for a DVD WILL degrade the quality further. You cannot fix that.
