recordings from videotape? I have a bunch of VHS video tapes containing many episodes of a difficult to find TV show. They were recorded in SLP (low quality) mode although they look pretty good.
I want to back all of them up on DVDs with my DVD recorder. If I use the lowest quality (longest record time) setting on the DVD recorder, will the quality of the show decrease even more than it already is?
In order to maintain the current quality of the show as it is now on the tapes, will I need to use the highest quality record setting on the DVD recorder?
