Does this sound like a good car audio setup?

I would like to get the following: (2) 15" Alpine Type R subs (750RMS each)
the subs are dual 4ohm voice coil, so if wired at 4 ohms do i double the 750rms into 1500rms for an amplifier? so if my math is correct, i will need roughly 1500rms to get full potential from these subs, so the SoundStorm (SSL) EV4000D since it will be giving out roughly 1600W x 1 Chan. @ 4 Ohm? i know its 100rms over the maximum for the subs but then im getting full power.
 
This pair of 4-ohm DVC subwoofers can be wired to present a 4-ohm or 1-ohm amplifier load.
should be ok
don't forget to beef up your power supply
 
Don't get soundstorm. Its a fleamarket offbrand that want to be soundstream. Not sure but I think it wont event push 1000 rms
