A man married 20+ years goes to an annual charity luncheon - all his colleagues are there. He returns to his office and writes an email to a female executive at another company:
"Good to see you. Let's get together over drinks and discuss business or whatever."
Then he proceeds to try to convince her to join a professional organization he belongs to, telling her the meetings draw a lot of peers due to the great locations. The next one is in San Francisco, she should come. He will sponsor her and they can "hang out".
Is this a come on?
No, he is not paying her way. He is sponsoring her for membership in the professional organization.
No benefit to him in the organization for him to bring in members.
