Hi. I was downloading some free ringtones off some sights when I suddenly though, is this as free as i think it is? Am i being billed for the memory that the songs are taking up on my phone? If it makes a difference most of the downloaded ringtones are being saved as "sound" files which isnt what i wanted but thats a seperate issue. I had one successfully save as a "ringtone" in "mp3" format.

Thanks.
I dont think i have the data plan though, I know i get free texting... hhrmmm

No. As long as you have the data plan for the internet which starts at either $69.99 or $79.99 . Verizon, unlike Sprint, will NOT charge you for downloads. But, if the website you are using charges for the ringtones: (Some will charge you without telling you) then it will appear on your bill.
