Dropped my ipod earbud in coffee, how to clean it?

Yesterday one of my ipod ear buds (the ones that come with an ipod) fell out of my ear and landed in my coffee. Its now really low and hard to hear out of. Is there a way of dismantling it and cleaning the coffee out? Or am i doomed to buy a new pair
