Dsi not working with router please help?

Ok so I got my dsi today and I hooked it up to my wireless router it said I had to do advances setup since it had a password and it worked with the Internet an stuff but then I went to hook it up to wifi with pokemon and it wouldn't work. Any ideas to get it to work?

I don't do games.

It probably has to do with your network security. Make sure you have a WEP connection and NOT a WPA. All DS systems (including DSi) can only connect to WEP do to firmware limitations.
