Facebook application on my iPod 3rd gen touch won't go past the logging in screen?

My Facebook application was running fine, i got a notification, hit "view" and it asked me to log in. It stayed for about 15 minutes on the "logging in" screen. I tried it again and on a different account and the same thing happens. I still however, get notifications but cannot view them as it gets stuck on the "logging in" screen. Can anyone help?
