Ok so I've been doing a little research and I've found some intereting info about file sharing here in Canada. However, this information is from 3-5 years ago so I'm a little confused and I can't find current info about file sharing being illegal. I know it is illegal in the U.S. already, and I know there is a bill that was created to amend the Copyright Act (which has not yet been passed but it's in the process as promised by the Conservatives), and considering what's happening right now with the government, I can understand why the issue has been put on hold.
Anyways I'm concerned because I'm doing a speech on music downloading/internet piracy/file sharing and I can't find any recent info on whether or not it's still legal.
