For the 2009 Nissan Maxima, off the line, is it faster to punch the peddle...

...or tiptronic? I hear rumors of Nissan giving the maxima a little bog in the lower gear for the CVT. I wonder if punching the peddle to let the CVT do the work is faster or slower than manual controlling the gears with the paddle shifter...
