Gadget that makes your car tick like a bomb clock?

there is a car in my parking lot that intentionally ticks, not related to the car itself, it is an add on..

just wondering if anyone knows where you can find this sort of thing.
if you know, answer, otherwise don't bother. I don't actually want to buy it, just want to see what it is.
