I am a 35 year old woman, and last night my best friend (male) calls and tells me he thinks he is gay. I have no problem with this as I have many gay male friends in my life and love them all dearly, what I am struggling with is how to help him deal with this. He's 36, and just realizing, learning this side of himself. All of my other friends were out and proud when I met them, however my best friend needs support and love and I just need some advice on what to say to him, is there a group or support system I can help him find?
I love him unconditionally as if he was my own brother, so I if you are going to post hateful comments to me then move on.
I want honest real answers here. When you were coming out, what could a friend/sister have done to help you?
