Going on a P&O cruise from Brisbane, Australia few questions pls read more?

so me and my family are going on a P&O cruise from Brisbane to Noumea, Lifou and Vila in 10 days, so there are a few questions i would like to ask.

How do you pay for items (clothes ect.) on the islands, i know that u can use cash and u get there money from the boat but do they take it out off your cruise card or what?

Can you use Debit Visa or what card would you use?

What would a 15 year old wear to dinner?

And should i be worried about going in cyclone season?
