Good inexpensive Blue-ray player?

I'm wanting to get one for my parents for christmas...they need an upgrade on TV and DVD to Blue-ray player...
right now I just wanna focus on the Blu-ray because I'm not going to buy them a TV (even though it's probably 13 years old)...anyways they are not very tech savvy so they don't need anything fancy. literally they just need it to watch movies...

anyways anything i could just pick up at target/best buy/wal-mart would be great!

That's your answer there.

I would tend to try and avoid unknown or "off" brands though. They usually stink for ongoing support and longevity.
