...decide if i should attend this wks meeting? Im in a fraternity in the northeast where there are a lot of loud mouth people from ma/ny. Regardless, last week at a chapter meeting, I stood up and got offended when someone made a joke about me. all thoruhghout chapter, brothers of the fraternity write notes and the president reads them alloud. Someone called me gay (which happens to a lot of people, i got overly offended) and i stood up and said "Ok, you called me out, stand up." I way over reacted and there was a 150 guys in the room. I look really douchey for doing it I didnt take it that personally.
I dont know how to act now or what to say or if i should attend this weeks meeting because I feel like it will look weak on my part if I do not. advice?
there will be a lot of talk about it. i called out instantly after by someone and people laughed. I know people have been talking about it, and it will get brought up for quite some time but much less after a few weeks
