My brother and I are about to embark on a backpacking trip through Scotland and we need a good handheld GPS. I love my iPhone's satellite views from google maps (and would love to bring it with me but international rates on the phone or astronomical), so I would like something like that. Is there anything out there similar? It seems like all the handheld GPS devices I've seen don't have very good satellite pictures, and none of them can download maps on the go (they all have to be pre-loaded). Thanks.
