Personally I like it. It's really soft and kind of relaxing in a way?
I mean, yes some tweaks and some improvements could be made, but I think you have potential :)

It's alright, the guitar has too much treble and the guitar playing is decent at best, the vocal tracks ate a bit too quite, and the lyrics are a bit generic. You need a bit of improvement.

i think you go for the stress in your voice too early in my opinion this both sounds wierd and takes away from when the stress is necessary. seriously mate i think you should have a listen to this guy and you will learn alot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c21SfaAwBw0

Yes as a musician with years of experience it is pretty good and would sound even better in a recording studio don't forget that! and you have to give it a shot because you have to try if you don't you might regret it for the rest of your life, since you see those people like the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber that don't deserve to be there, I think you are better (or at least have the potential to be better ).

Personally no, I would not. I hated the phrasing you used, and the guitar quality was terrible. Your voice is lacking some drive in this recording. It isn't properly recorded for me to be able to give a real opinion as you can blame the terrible recording quality for your voice, guitar etc... but if it was properly recorded I still wouldn't like it. Not a song I could ever imagine listening to, it doesn't have anything going for it for my taste.
