Have you heard a celebrity used a derogatory remark at gay people? If so, who?

So many people are saying Michael Phelps is role model and should be responsible for his actions. Don't you think the standard should be held for all celebrities if they are going to make this "one" responsible. I recently heard a judge on one the court shows used the phrase "like a sissy". I think this was irresponsible on her part. What about you? Also, what the remark that you heard a celebrity make?

i wonder what the hell happen to freedom of speech, why should anyone be responsible for any word they say. If they say something someone doesnt like i say the worst that should happen to them is the person gets mad and tries to fight them.

It used to be more common in the early 90's. I remember both Mark Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg of "New Kids On The Block" made anti-gay comments. But society has changed. Being anti-gay is now a career killer, and in fact showing your acceptance of gayness even to the point of having an ambiguous sexuality is considered cool. The only place now where you hear anti-gay comments is in sports, that last bastion of neanderthal celebrities.

That black dude who called his gay co star a f a g.

The Beastie Boys back in the 90s tried to name one of their albums "Don't Be a Fa**ot."
