My horse is a gelding he is giving us the biggest problems trimming his feet someone just clipped the toe and left the sides to grow out. we recently required him a few months ago. he has a sort of flat foot and it looks like an egg side ways. yes horrifying it is. ok here's are most major problems. this gelding kicks and to top it off he will bring his front feet up and back but he acts like he can literally cant bring them out and forward to be trimmed and filed. he has major trust issues and hes a great smooth ride but i cant bare ridding him knowing his feet MUST hurt him though he doesn't act like it does. im asking how to work with him to pick up his feet front and back feet both forward and back. im lost and will not use tranquilizers or stud chains or twitches. i refuse to use that and i want him to be able to do it himself. the farrier says he refuses to touch him until i work with him. any solution would be great and most appreciated. thank you do much! i am in a bind and i already love this horse and will never sell him hes sort of like that one horse that's just so you its a have to be yours. thanks
