HD camcorder ---> pinnacle ultimate software ---> blue ray disk?

Here's the deal. I got this neat Canon HF200 camcorder and a nice LG blue ray burner.
I also got Pinnacle Ultimate editing software.
What format do I save files on my computer as 1080 HD for encryption to blue ray?
Ask me more detail and I will supply it.
