Not sure what the exact question is, typically the way you playback divx files is to burn them to a dvd as a data file. Then when you insert the disc into your dvd player, you can select the file for playback. The file must be encoded in divx format to playback properly. I'm not sure what other files your particular dvd player can playback without referencing a model #. Hope this helps, good luck.
