)? so i found a horse that is a thoroughbred 16hh horse that is for sale for 5k and 2 others for 6k from the same owner who needs to downsize . he can jump 3'3 and is great all around . then there is a 15hh horse from auction and is really cute and a great first horse which is what i am looking for he is a quarter horse 12 yrs old and is some what bomb-proof but i dont know if i am to big for him i am around 5'6 and if you where in my position who would you choose as a first horse ?

i have been riding for 4 yrs at one barn and with recently switching and leaving the horse i have clicked with and loved so much after him being semi -green and teaching him stuff all summer it is kinda hard for me at my new barn so i kinda hit a rough patch at the moment and learning and improving i w/t(sitting and posting)/c , jumping t/c and i haven't jump since the summer when i switched .. also can tack up , un tack , groom , catch from pasture etc , i have my own tack and a stall ready just need the horse
. also my new trainer has been there for 18 years and there are top professional Spanish trainers from Spain so if i ever need help they are there .
all together 5 years of riding but i have dealt w/ bucking , tacking off , rearing , green pushy horses , semi-green horses , biting and girthy horses i am not perfect but i still got alot more to learn and looking forward to it
also my sister rides and has galloped on trail as well and has been riding as long as i have i also want to say that my mom wants to start riding again b/c of my old lease horse , he meant so much to my family it was just sad to go , she would be a beginner and is shorter then me . my sister is like 5'4 and so is my mom
