help!!! can i burn a mpeg video to a dvd that will play on a dvd that has divx?

or do i have to figure out some how to covert the mpeg to something else so the divx in my dvd player will play it?
 
If you have NERO installed then just drag n drop the files you want to write into the nero DVD video writing window. The software will automatically convert it and write it.It may take some time according to the file size and processor speed.

If you want the files to be coverted to DIVX you can use softwares like 'divx converter' or 'auto guardian knot'.Then burn it as a normal data DVD.
