Help please it has to do with pokemon Diamond version on ds pls and ty!!?

How do l find the maniac in solaceon ruins.???? He says he wants to race me so do l have to collect all the unknown pokemon or something to find him??? How do l beat him???

The "extension route" opens up when you catch all A to Z Unowns in the Solaceon Ruins. If you recall that random door above the entrance of the Ruins, the room that door lets you into is the room the extension leads you to as soon as you get A-Z. The cave's name will also change to Maniac Tunnel. In that room, you will find "!" and "?" Unowns. The only purpose of it is so that you can show the boy in Solaceon the A-Z and ! ? Unowns to get the corresponding ball capsule seals.
