Hey does anyone know any good fantasy/sci fi books? Examples are Mortal...

...Instruments, the Hunger Games, etc.? Well, I'm in a bit of a reading drought. I'm reading Mortal Instruments, but I've read it like a million times before. And I've already read Clockwork Angel, so no other options available there.
So, I thought, if I can't think of any other good books to read, maybe... other people can!
And, low and behold, here I am.
And btw, NO vampire books. Especially sparkling ones. Who apparently smell nice. And are 'vegetarian'. Which is stupid, since they live on animals. And yes, I know it's a joke,or a metaphor, or whatever it's supposed to be. It's still stupid.
Well, actually good vampire books are allowed, but no Twilight spin offs. And I know everyone is going to whine 'Theeey're nnnot spiinoffs! They're toootally different!' But you know what I mean. Books that have miraculously become incredibly popular since the 'Twilight Phenomenon'. Because the 'fanpires' just can't get enough of hawt, brooding, intense guys who... sparkwle!
But whatever. Sorry if I've turned you off with my Twilight ranting. You can probably just skip that bit. I'm guessing everyone gets the general idea...

Anyway...back to my question. Any and all suggestions are greatly, greatly, and may I stress, greatly, appreciated. Like, so greatly. Even if it's just one book, and it's a crappy one at that, it's appreciated.

But some examples are
-Mortal Instruments (obviously)
-Hunger Games
-Percy Jackson (I know, I know)
-Alex Rider (Again, I know)
-Gone and Hunger (by Michael Grant, for those who don't know about it. But I don't know how you wouldn't know. It's a good book. In fact, such a good book, I'd recommend reading it. You knooow, for people who love teen sci fi, with a bit of romance, super powers, monsters and heaaaaps of hot guys. Oh, and don't forget the talking coyotes. You know you want to
-Also, I like Superman. There's not really a point to saying, cause it's not a book. Just thought you ought to know. So, you know, all the fanpires can hate on him in revenge for my twilight- bashing.
But, just to let you know, this is not a Twilight bashing party. I've already done several of them. But, if you want, you can drop a line on your 'preferences'. Once again, it wouldn't really have much point, or anything really to do with the question, but everyone loves to express there love, or hate, for Twilight. And, if you want, you can type a page on either. Not saying I'd actually read it, but there's no one stopping you.
Actually, if you wanna know what I think (which you probably don't, but anyway) every time you fill out a form, you should have to state your views on Twilight, like 'Fanpire','Twihater' or 'I don't care! I've had enough of Twilight and all the stupid fangirls and haters! Can everyone please just get over it!'
It's a great conversation starter.'Oh yeah, hi, my names Evie, I'm 14, I don't like Twilight' 'Oh, you don't? I guess we can't be friends then.' Or they agree with you. And you stay friends for life. Well, actually, not always, I have these two friends who love Twilight, and they used to be besties, but now they hate each other. True, one of them was starting to like Vampire Diaries better, so I'm sure the other one felt betrayed, but it just shows you, even Twilight can't keep two completely different people together. Which is a very important moral, and I'm sure you'll all come away better people for it.
You're welcome to disagree, insult, flame, or bag me out (I'm not sure if any people use the term 'bag me out' in anywhere apart from Koala land, but basically it means to insult someone) about any of the things I've said above. And also, don't forget to list any good books you know! Cause, you know, that was kinda the point of the whole question. But, really. who could resist my razor- sharp wit?
