Hi, i have a 35hp eventide model E35 Elec SM, which i think is 1980. That last time i used it was 3 years ago and all was well. recently i went to start the motor but found the ignition key was missing, so i disconnected the battery, removed the switch and marked the 5 wires carefully with a newly cut key i put the switch back in, checking that all wires were on the correct terminals. motor winds over beautifully, but no spark. i again checked the ignition wiring it was as original. i have two wiring diagrams but the colours are different. also the wiring from the motor to the switch was replaced some time ago, not using the original colours. wondering if you someone could possibly help me with this one as i spent one full day on it and i am no further to discovering what is wrong with it. any help would be appreciated
